THE BIGGER PICTURE
This move would mark Trapp’s second spell in the French capital, albeit with PSG’s city rivals. His time at Les Parisiens saw him lift 11 trophies, including two Ligue 1 titles. Off the pitch, the German goalkeeper already spends considerable time in Paris due to his partner Izabel Goulart living there, making the move a seamless lifestyle fit. When asked by Sport.de about the goalkeeper’s situation, Eintracht sporting director Markus Krosche remained tight-lipped, saying: “I’m not saying anything about it.”

TELL ME MORE…
Paris FC’s Stade Jean-Bouin is located just 500 metres from PSG’s Parc des Princes, meaning Trapp would be returning to familiar surroundings. The Eagles, meanwhile, have identified Werder Bremen’s Michael Zetterer as their main target to replace him, with talks already underway. Zetterer, valued at €4.5m, could be allowed to leave if Bremen put their faith in young talent Mio Backhaus.
